Looks like Australia on course to lose their warm up match to Pakistan A before next weeks Test match in the UAE. Could do with more warm up games but that's modern touring.
In the Australian domestic One day competition ..... Tasmania make 398/1 in 50 overs (Ben DUNK 229no with 13 6's) & lose with 16 balls to spare Queensland 402/3 (47.2 overs) (KHAWAJA 166, HARTLEY 142) Small ground at North Sydney ... 33 sixes hit on the day

The West Indies team has pulled out of their tour of India because of the ongoing payment structure dispute with the WICB and WIPA. The fourth ODI in Dharamsala will be their last game of the series, which was scheduled to have a fifth ODI, a Twenty20 international as well as three Tests.
A senior BCCI official confirmed the development, saying the West Indies team management had informed the board of their decision earlier on Friday. According to the official, the BCCI was trying to find another team as a replacement, with Sri Lanka being the favourite. The board later tweeted that it was "shocked and disappointed at the decision".
"They have withdrawn their team and this (development) has come abruptly. We received an e-mail from Richie Richardson, the West Indies team manager, only this morning," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel told ESPNcricnfo.

Have to take your word on English crowds
Last game in England I watched the ground appeared to be full of Indians racially abusing a Pakistani

Still apllies to English crowds.
I'm not sure it applies to the chaps in the Australian crowds who dress like Doug WILLIS.

Cricket (Test cricket) was always known for supporting your country but appreciating and acknowledging great players and play from the other team.
I think that still applies to the majority of Test fans

They've changed, certainly, in a lot of ways for the better
Like booing Michael CLARKE, for example

Been plenty of those in the past. Ian Chappell never got booed did he?
English crowds have changed particularly away from Lords.

Ponting was a well respected pantomime villain.
Clarke gets booed because he's a Grade A cunt.

Re: Kevin Pietersen book

To be expected in Queensland, Mr Burns. To be fair Australian crowds do tend to be a bit more feral as its always been more of a working class game there and probably has more of a cross over with football fans than it traditionally did in this country.
That's definitely changed a bit over the years in England over more recent times ... ie the booing of the Aust captain now seems traditional towards Ponting and now Clarke. Though I can also remember the cheers when it became obvious that Steve Waugh needed to be stretchered off at Trent Bridge after damaging his leg in 2001.
